In this Country we have a fantastic Canal network like no-where else in the World, and its extraordinary to think that they were mostly built over 200 years ago, and yet today provide thousands of miles of enjoyment for everyone and great holidays.
Canal boating is a safe environment with limited scope for getting into trouble, and provides frequently changing scenery, open countryside, amazing wildlife, our industrial heritage with restored historic buildings and fantastic engineering structures.

We have great locations from you to choose from, allowing you to explore over 1500 miles of canals, and offering you the chance to stop off and investigate further at a mooring of your choice, or to simply continue cruising onto your next destination.

Our choice of locations allow you to decide whether you want a relaxing escape from it all, enjoying remote rural countryside, or would rather an action packed holiday of sightseeing famous cities, and attractions and maybe a Canal side pub or two!

You can be somewhere different everyday, and you take your home with you, and we have a great choice of boats available, from 2 berths right up to 12 berth narrowboats.

You need to find the boat is ideal for you, how many cabins and bathrooms do you want, do you want the saloon near the back of the boat (stern) so you can be at the Tiller and shout down to your crew in the saloon that you would like a Cuppa!
Or would you like the saloon at the front (bow) , so you can open the front doors and just while away the evening by the Canal with a glass of wine.

In the depths of winter our boats have central heating, or you can opt for one with a solid fuel stove.

We have a great choice of the type of boat you have- some with an open stern so you can all stand around, or with seats at the back - a semi traditional stern.

We offer Great holidays with routes to suit everyone, some with no locks, some with lots of locks, some with rural open countryside, some routes with lots of villages and Canalside pubs, and some routes where you can stop in the centre of the City, at no extra charge!

Whatever route you take, the experience will be like none other, and something you will remember for the rest of your life. Its a great holiday for families, kids can join in and help, or can cycle along the Canal tow path, its a holiday where all the family can help each other, and get to know each other again, even the teenagers will be fascinated!
At the end of each day you will all be pleasantly tired, as the locks and fresh air will see to that, and you can enjoy a lovely pub meal in a Canalside pub, or use the fully equipped galley that comes with each boat.
