The Goose Boatclass

The Alvechurch Goose is a 69ft long, 8 berth semi-traditional stern narrowboat. It has a quiet water-cooled diesel engine with simple to use controls.

Saloon : Radio/CD player; colour TV/DVD player.

Galley : The kitchen is fully equipped and has a 4 burner gas cooker with grill and oven; refrigerator; sink and drainer; saucepans; cooking utensils; crockery and cutlery appropriate for the number of berths. There is plenty of storage space and work surfaces. Also supplied are a microwave; toaster and Cafetiere

Bathroom : There are two bathrooms, each with a wash hand basin, electrically operated flush toilet and shower or hip bath/shower, and a 240v shaver socket.

Berth : As this is an 8 berth boat, there is a choice of a double berth or two singles in the rear and one centre cabin. There is a fixed double in the other centre cabin. These beds have interior sprung mattresses. An optional dinette/double is available in the saloon.

Bedding : Freshly laundered bedding is supplied for each crew member, as per your requirements. Additional bedding is available upon request. Towels are also supplied - one medium sized towel per crew member, and one hand towel per bathroom.

Electric :12v mobile phone charging point (please remember to bring your own car charging lead). The 2kw inverter supplies 240v electricity to certain appliances and to a socket on the boat. (Please note: if you decide to use any of your own electrical appliances, you do so at your own risk).

In addition to the boat prices shown above, a fuel deposit is payable. Others charges may apply and will be calculated and shown on the booking form. The full cost of the holiday will be displayed before you confirm the booking. Prices are per boat, not per person.
